As much as I love subway, my inner control freak makes me want to make subs at home. And it also helps that I don’t have to stick to a veggie or tuna sub. It’s really easy. All you need is your favorite fillings and mini baguettes, or you can just make one huge baguette sandwich and cut it up into individual servings.
Here’s what I used:
Gouda slices(I use light gouda because it’s not as sharp)
green bell peppers, sliced
Cut the baguettes horizontally. Place the turkey and cheese slices and put them in a hot oven (200 C) until the cheese has melted and the baguettes are toasted. Then just add your favorite veggies and sauces. These are great to make for lunch and there’s not much preparation that needs to be done. If you have a busy week ahead you can take out an hour to chop up all the veggies for the week and you’re set for lunch, or even dinner!
